Registration
Domain registrations can be canceled at any time, however, reimbursements are only given if the cancellation request is filed within two days after the registration date and your account does not have an excessive number of cancellations.
Transfer
You have the option to cancel domain transfers at any time before they are completed. If you cancel your order within 59 days of the transaction date, you will receive a refund.
Renewals
Renewals of domain names can only be canceled within two days of purchase.
In summary, canceling a renewal will require you to destroy the domain permanently.
